retail advertising strategies online
The Internet is growing in importance to retail marketers around the country – but what are their marketing priorities given only 97% of retail sales still take place in stores.
Retail advertising is the single biggest advertising segment in Australia, but to date retailers have been slow to adopt the Internet as an advertising/marketing and/or sales channel. But things are changing and some retailers are moving forward rapidly to stake their brands claim on the 14.5 million Australian internet population. But as these retailers begin to make investments online what are their marketing, advertising and sales priorities given store sales still account for 97% of all retail sales.
In this first Retail Seminar we have asked key stakeholders in the online marketing and retail world to comment on how they see online retail advertising, marketing and selling rolling out into the future.
