Eco-design – or known internationally as ‘design for the environment’ or ‘design for sustainability’, is crucial in moving Victoria towards a more sustainable future.

Design Victoria is partnering with the Centre for Design at RMIT University – leaders in eco-design research and industry professionals to deliver the Business Ready eco-design seminar and workshop series for designers, design consultancies and in-house design teams.

The seminars and workshops will impart strategies for the effective integration of environmental considerations into design. More information and updates throughout the series is available at designvic.com.

Seminar overview

Through the adoption of eco-design strategies, innovators within industry are demonstrating leadership while securing competitive advantage through the creation of greener products. This workshop will assist you to bridge the communication gap with clients and learn how to effectively communicate and integrate environmental considerations into product development.

This workshop explores how you can overcome environmental disadvantages in your brief. Learn strategic methods for approaching environmental stagnation and combating greenwashing.
