The 53rd Annual World Press Photo Exhibition 2010, is a phenomenal and moving collection of the World’s top Press Photographer’s showcasing the pictures that really hit the right note. A show that attracts a crowd of two and a half million people around the world in 100 different locations across the globe packs some serious punch – and this year – you can witness it in the flesh in Brisbane town.
Promoting the unrestricted exchange of information along with encouraging the highest standards in photo journalism is the mission behind the awards, opportunities that most of us in the Western world take for granted – but forget to celebrate.
