WHY KATUK HELPS THE National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF)? An owner of Katuk, Simon Pratt came face to face with Breast Cancer when his mother Sally was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. After numerous operations and chemotherapy she is finally in the clear.

After witnessing his mother go through the terrible ordeals involved in battling this disease, he thought he needed to do his bit to help raise awareness. Leading to Katuk’s very passionate support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

One in nine women will be diagnosed with the disease by the age of 85 and more then 2800 women will die from this disease in a single year.

Katuk aims to help raise funds and awareness regarding the importance of research into finding a cure and the cause of this insidious disease.

All proceeds from this fund raising event will assist the NBCF in supporting and promoting high quality research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer, whilst also assisting people who are dealing with the disease.
