Describe your role and what a typical day would entail?
Phone calls, interviews, phone calls, client meetings & phone calls. Oh and did I mention phone calls?
How would you describe the culture at Artisan?
Friendly, relaxed, creative.
What do you enjoy most about working at Artisan?
The enormous mirror ball hanging from the ceiling.
What is one skill that you’ve developed since working at Artisan?
Learning how to use Filemaker.
What were you doing prior to Artisan?
Working for the dark side.
Tell us about your best and worst employment experience…
Working as body double for Eva Mendes on Ghostrider, a day at the office with Nicolas Cage wasn’t too bad. Spraying perfume on the Myer sales floor during uni holidays, retail is not really my thing.
What makes a great work environment?
Everyone treating everyone respectfully.
What is the most common mistake you find businesses making when looking for new staff?
Hiring only on experience and not potential.
What makes a standout CV?
Clear & concise formatting.
What makes a successful interview?
Preparation.
What achievements are you the most proud of?
Changing peoples lives by getting them the job of their dreams and buying my own apartment.
What do you find yourself doing in your spare time?
Singing Shirley Bassey, very, very loudly.
