James Knowler is a freelance photographer who, apart from doing the most recent Artisan Family Summer 2010 Party, specialises in interiors, both commercial and lifestyle. When he isn't being invited to shoot Artisan parties (James also did the photography for our 2008 Rockstar Party), his house features appear in high gloss, well known magazines such as Belle, House & Garden, Real Living, Country Style, Inside Out and Home Beautiful.

He has a 15-year career in photography, with experience that spans newspapers, sport, lifestyle, commercial, industrial and fashion. However, it’s interiors and Industrial that are his passions, with strong architectural lines, the contemporary use of texture, functional lifestyle spaces and references to an owners’ personality that draw his eye.

James is a team player and is experienced in following photography briefs to ensure each magazine’s unique look and feel is met. He also understands deadline pressures, so ensures a quick turnaround with all commissioned work and delivers images as per art directors’ requirements.
