If you went searching online for an inflatable support pillow, I’m sure you would expect to find countless listings available. Well, that’s what you would think. Artoon’s Mike Calder had exactly that moment when he wanted to find an inflatable pillow that he could take on long flights with him. After searching online for a while, Mike realised that this was an untapped market and set about creating the Air Support Pillow.
Similar to the foam contoured pillow, the Air Support Pillows main advantage is that it is one compact little item. The pillows come with their own hand pump so that you can easily inflate the pillow when you need it. Likewise, they’re easy to deflate and to pack away once the flight is over!
The pillows are ergonomically designed to promote maximum neck support and the comfort of the pillows can be adjusted easily by simply inflating and deflating the pillows to suit the individual.
The pillows are available in two sizes, a mid size pillow (36 x 34 x 13cm) and a large size pillow (57 x 34 x 13cm) and comes in two colours, grey and charcoal. With a recommended retail price of only $20, they’re an ideal item to take with you on flights, camping or anywhere where you may need some temporary support.
Mike is also looking to develop a kids range of pillows which will feature some favourite licensed characters – watch this space in the meantime!
In the meantime, you can pick up your Air Support Pillow at all good K Marts.
