SOYA 2010
The QANTAS Spirit of Youth Awards

Are you a young creative who is ready to show the world what you can do? SOYA 2010 is now open for entries.
The QANTAS Spirit of Youth Awards has kicked off, giving talented creative people an opportunity to boost their careers with a once-in-a-lifetime mentorship and grants program.
Talented Australians aged 30 and under across seven creative fields - fashion, film, visual arts, visual communications, music, industrial and object design and photography - are invited to submit their work for a chance to receive financial support in the form of $5000 in cash and $5000 in Qantas flights, as well as a rare 12-month mentorship opportunity with leading lights of the international creative community. In 2010, SOYA boasts a stellar line-up of inspirational mentors; Marc Newson (Design), Nicky and Simone Zimmeramann (Fashion), Jan Chapman (Film), Tony Mott (Photography), Lee Groves (Music), Elizabeth Ann Macgregor (Visual Arts) and Deanne Cheuk (Visual Communication). As success stories in their respective fields, these industry leaders know that getting a break and having the right doors opened can help launch a creative career. To find out more about these incredible mentors and these categories check out the website www.soya.com.au
The winners will be announced at the spectacular awards night held on Thursday 11 November at the Foundation Hall of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.
