'The Voice of Professional Design'

Looking to become a member of a professionally recognised Design Association here in Australia?

The Design Institute of Australia functions Nationally to foster a healthy professional environment by delivering a range of tangible services to members and affiliates. The DIA exists as a corporate point of contact between Design professionals and they're practices, the Government and the Design Industry as a whole to facilitate initiatives and creative a professional community.

Membership provides an affiliation with a strong National association, where professionals and practitioners are provided with opportunities to develop they're industry knowledge, to further educate themselves through various programmes and access to a professional 'voice' in the industry. As well as functioning locally, the DIA acts as a formal contact between National and International Design professions.

The Design Institute of Australia, Victorian Branch is an inaugural partner of the 2011 Melbourne Design Awards. The DIA's involvement has provided support and an advisory board for the awards from it's very inception.
