The first single from the upcoming album 'Scars' sees Basement Jaxx return in fine form. Basement Jaxx do have a way of making their recordings sound quintessentially them and 'Raindrops' is no different with it's big beat drums, vocoder vocals and hands in the air chorus. The single has entered the Australian charts at a very modest #88 although JB HiFi's recent decision to no longer stock CD singles, meaning that the vast majority of Australian music retail no longer stock the format may have something to do with this. At this point, i'd like to do a plug for the good folk at Chaos music online who DO still stock CD singles, so if you're keen to get the single, you can purchase a copy here.
