david guetta - one love (emi)
August 23, 2009
For many people, David Guetta may be a new dance act, better known as 'that guy' who has worked with Kelly Rowland to produce the international chart hit 'When Love Takes Over'. However, David Guetta is no stranger to the scene, building up a decade of solid remixes as well as previous dance classics such as 'A Little More Love' and his brilliant 'mash up' with The Egg, 'Love Don't Let Me Go'. 'One Love' is his latest offering and is set to see him break further into the international market, especially considering America's recent obsession with producing more house based urban music (thanks to the likes of The Black Eyed Peas). In this regards, David Guetta has been very smart, bringing in the likes of Akon, Kid Cudi, Ne-Yo and The Black Eyed Peas onto his album. English R&B singer Estelle along with Tocadisco also make appearances on the album to ensure a more UK/European feel to some of the album too. It still won't be everyone's cup of tea however this is likely to be the big dance album for our upcoming Summer 09/10.
