Fusing soul with a hint of jazz and more than a touch of eletronic makes for an interesting soup of sound however it is that exact same quality that makes Sam Sparro so intriguing. 'Black And Gold', the first single from his self titled debut album, sees this young performer explode onto the international music scene in fine style. Although born in Sydney, Sam has spent much of his life living in the US before moving to London to further his career. After having recent chart success in the UK, it would seem world domination is inevitable. For those who can't wait for local music television shows to catch up, you can catch the clip for the song on either Youtube or it's given as a bonus on the CD single. However, keep an eye out for the album when it is released as it is downright tasty.
