beck - modern guilt (universal)

Genre bending Beck has come a long way from being that self confessed loser well over a decade ago. Over the years, he has frequently flirted with a multitude of styles and, although not always commercially successful, has created some brilliant albums along the way. 'Modern Guilt' is his latest creation, with songs such as 'Orphans', 'Youthless', 'Wells' and 'Chemtrails', you could be forgiven for thinking it has a concept album twist. Having said that, 'Modern Guilt' has the feel of a classic Beck album; Both 'Modern Guilt' and 'Gamma Ray' has a folky rock quirk that Beck is known for.
