Most people would know UK singer/actress Paloma Faith from her song, 'Stone Cold Sober', brought to public attention by Hayley Warner during the last season of Australian Idol. Faith's debut album 'Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?' certainly has elements of post-pop Amy Winehouse about her but this works in all the right ways for her. A perfect example is the track 'Broken Doll', which sounds a bit like an old 50's doo-wop song brought up to date in all it's glorious tenderness. For anyone who loved Amy Winehouse, then they're going to absolutely adore Paloma Faith. Listen out for the new dance remixes of her new single, 'Upside Down'.
