pet shop boys - pandemonium (emi)
March 29, 2010
Think of the Pet Shop Boys and I bet the phrase 'live album' doesn't really spring to mind. However, that's exactly what their new album, 'Pandemonium' is! Recorded live from London's O2 Arena at the end of last year, 'Pandemonium' captures the Pet Shop Boys on their last tour promoting their 'Yes' album. As such, knowing that live albums don't really get the punters out in flocks nowadays, they've also included a DVD of the show at no added cost. Generous! As you would expect, there are the usual handful of PSB hits to be featured, including 'Go West', 'Always On My Mind', 'Jealously', 'Suburbia', 'It's a Sin', 'Being Boring' and 'West End Girls'. However, this tour contained more than it's fair share of the obscure as well, including tracks like 'Two Divided By Zero', 'Do I Have To?' and 'Why Don't We Live Together?' Certainly a lot of fun for anyone who has grown up with this UK pop duo.
