On the eve of the release of her new album, 'It's Not Me, It's You', Lily Allen has come back with a new single that signifies a rather more mature sound for her. In typical Lily Allen fashion, 'The Fear' is immediately catchy whilst also being a little bit more darker and brooding than her previous hits ('Smile', 'Alfie', 'LDN'). On the remix side of things, DJ's have found promo's land in their laps from the likes of Wideboys, Stonebridge and Dresden & Johnstone, indicating that EMI are keen to get a little bit more exposure for Lily Allen this time around. Considering she was once hailed as being a 'one hit wonder', it's certainly a strong indication that we're going to be hearing a lot more of Lily Allen for some time to come.
