Looking to increase your creative resources at hand? Pantone have provided an effortless solution that is delivered to your inbox ... FREE!

Pantone has recently launched a newsletter 'Tone' highlighting trends in colours across fashion, design and culture. The free quarterly newsletter is said to be "dedicated to colour in its every expression" (Pantone).

The inaugural issue pays tribute to Pantone's colour of 2010, turquoise, documents Africa's influence on colour palettes worldwide, and predicts colour trends for the 2011 shoe industry, among other varied topics.

"The importance of colour in our daily lives cannot be overstated. Colour, with its unique ability to engage the eye, serves as a catalyst for emotion, creating magic and atmosphere. Colour can relax you, leave you feeling contemplative, or excite, inviting feelings of energy and joy." (Pantone)

The news letter aims to track and document the latest colour trends that current effect the world of design, as well as capturing the moods and meanings of colours.

This is a great method of staying ahead - without even trying!
