Another year, another amazing event from the guys at Truly Madly (formerly Storm DNA) as their ever-popular Art With Heart this year takes on the theme of ‘Shine’.

As they’ve done with previous years, all the artwork has been donated from the team and friends of Truly Madly with all funds raised this year going to support the Worawa Aboriginal College. All the artwork was sold in a blind auction to raise money for a Wowara.

Worawa is the only privately owned and independently operated Aboriginal Secondary Boarding School, located 65km outside of Melbourne in the Yarra Valley. Their focus is to provide their students with a “proud and modern Indigenous education”, providing each student with their own personalised learning program.

Being the ninth Art With Heart, the guys at Truly Madly have got putting on a good evening down to a fine art and the numbers that turned up support that fact. As they’ve done with previous years, any paintings that haven’t been sold will be placed up on the website for those who were unable to attend so keep an eye on their website over the next few days and dig deep for a worth while cause.

The team here at Artisan thoroughly enjoyed the evening, some lucky enough to come away with a gorgeous piece of art (or two). The atmosphere was positive, the works fabulous - and the chicken sandwiches to die for!
