New Day Rising
Check out what's turning Jenna into the next biggest fan of this little corner of Brunswick

By Jenna Lewis
At the end of the 96 tram line in East Brunswick, tucked away in a tiny shop front is New Day Rising. An intimate setting, the size of a kitchen in a modest home this delightful café makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door.
The menu is modest in size but the quality of the food is amazing. The toasted bagel with avocado, relish and potato salad on the side is an absolute must! Its the perfect meal to go alongside a Five Senses coffee. New Day Rising is without a doubt serving the best coffee in Brunswick!
Although this little gem is named after the 1985 Hüsker Dü album the vibe inside is warm and welcoming – quite the opposite of hardcore punk. The whole experience leaves you feeling more like you just had breakfast with new friends at home rather than a meal in café. Fast becoming a favourite of Brunswick locals its definitely a place to put on your to-do list.
